For Immediate Release
Richard Grayson, a registered member of the Arizona No Labels Party and the Chair of the the Pinal County No Labels Party, announced today that his group will "strongly support the Biden-Harris ticket for re-election in 2024."
"The Pinal County No Labels Party will not go along with the national organization's goal of spoiling the election in order to return Donald Trump to the White House," Grayson said at the county organization's new headquarters in Apache Junction. "We are centrists and as such, we support President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, not the right-wing billionaires, fat cat D.C. political operatives and has-been Democrats like the sanctimonious fool and meeskite Joe Lieberman."
The Pinal County No Labels Party's main goal is recruiting candidates from the far right and the far left to run as No Labels Party candidates in Arizona for the U.S. Senate, Congress, the state legislature and the Arizona Corporations Commission, especially in districts with such a partisan lean that there are often Republican or Democratic incumbents running unopposed.
Grayson, a queer democratic socialist and vegetarian Jewish atheist author, is a retired college professor and lawyer from Brooklyn who supports abortion on demand, Medicare for all, strict gun control, Black Lives Matter, increased immigration, a wealth tax, woke history lessons (slaves were not unpaid interns, Florida assholes!), aid for NATO, aid for Ukraine in its war against dictator Putin, aid for Taiwan in its struggle against dictator Xi, drag queen rights, deporting Howard Schultz, cool fashion choices, CRT, DEI, ESG, OMG, transgender liberation and ending the use of fossil fuels and other measures to stop the climate change that has turned Arizona into a living hell in the summer. He will be a Arizona No Labels Party candidate in the August 2024 primary.
Grayson has previously won congressional primaries of the Green Party (2010) and the Americans Elect Party (2012) in Arizona and the Democratic Party (2014) in Wyoming and was the nominee of the Arizona Green Party for state representative from eastern Mesa, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon in 2018. Grayson was chair of the Pinal County Greens from 2010 to 2012 and a leader of the Arizona Americans Elect Party from 2013 to 2014.
In 2022, with no Democratic candidate on the ballot in Arizona's 9th Congressional District, Grayson ran as write-in candidate and got 1.8% of the vote to Republican Rep. Paul Gosar's 97.8%. Grayson recently joined the No Labels Party, which in the last voter registration count (April 2023) had no registered voters in Pinal County, 14 voters in Maricopa County, and 3 voters in Pima County.
"We are asking all voters registered with the new No Labels Party in Arizona and other states to join us in supporting the Biden/Harris ticket as the national No Labels nominee for President and Vice President," Grayson said. He will be in Dallas in April as a Pinal County delegate to the No Labels Party National Nominating Convention and will cast his vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
